Press Release Diplomacy Studies MUN 1.0
Diplomacy Studies MUN is a conference event held by KSM Diplomacy Studies on October 2–3, 2021. DSMUN also prepared and set for beginner delegates that do not have many experiences at Model United Nations. We want to make an opportunity for the one who wants to learn and improve their leadership and public speaking skills to the next level. This event carries the theme “Strengthening New World during Pandemic of Covid-19”. The general goal of this event is to give comprehensive information about the current conditions regarding the health and tourism policy in every country, so delegates can understand and be able to build a good argument to solve the agenda with the resolution. The Conference has two councils: UNWTO which carries the topic of “Arranging Tourism Amidst Global Pandemic of Covid-19” and WHO which carries the topic of “Building Health Cooperation During Pandemic of Covid-19” Diplomacy Studies MUN is the first international MUN held by UPNVY’s body led by Haris Saefulloh as its secretary-general for the first batch (2021). DS MUN is an upgraded event from KSM Diplomacy Studies annual MUN, Short Diplomatic Course which is aimed at high school students. The two-day conference was held successfully with more than thirty participants in each council. Alongside the delegate from Indonesia, there are several delegates who also come from Pakistan, Turkey, Singapore, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Sri Lanka. The UNWTO council was guided by Febritisia Stevi Inria S. and Clara Anisah as the chairs. The WHO council was guided by Frida Febrianti Kirana and Andreas Ken Hananto S as the chairs.
